In order to strategize effective solutions, The Mokha Institute conducted an initial assessment of the needs of coffee stakeholders across Yemen; leading to the National Yemen Coffee auction. This survey incorporated key information from participating producers about their their basic production needs, including water infrastructure, irrigation systems, skilled and unskilled labor, access to financing as well as quality reports on coffees from across the coffee growing regions of Yemen.
